Starting 2021/3/23, MAX begins to support TRC-20 USDT deposits and withdrawals
Starting 2021/3/23, MAX begins to support TRC-20 USDT deposits and withdrawals, a cheaper and more efficient blockchain protocol for USDT transfers. As a promotion, we’re thrilled to announce that all TRC-20 USDT withdrawals are free by 2021/6/30!
USDT is a cryptocurrency issued by Tether that maintains a 1:1 exchange rate with the U.S. dollar.
For the cryptocurrency market with its large price fluctuations, USDT provides a hedging function that is not affected by market fluctuations and stable in value, similar to fiat.
There are currently three versions of USDT issued by Tether: ERC20, Omni Layer, TRC20
● TRC20 is a version of USDT issued based on the TRON network. The deposit address starts with the letter "T" and requires 12 block confirmations.
● ERC20 is a version of USDT issued based on ETH (Ethereum). The deposit address starts with "0x" and requires 12 block confirmations.
● Omni Layer is a USDT issued based on Bitcoin (Omni protocol). The deposit address starts with the number "3" or "1" and requires 3 block confirmations.
MAX will consolidate and calculate the USDT you have deposited, providing users with a more free and flexible trading market.
There will still only be one USDT trading area on MAX exchange, but the above-mentioned three versions of the deposit and withdrawal channels will be provided. When sending USDT, you will still need to fill in the receiving address according to the USDT version supported by the receiving platform or wallet; when receiving USDT, you will still need to provide the USDT address of the corresponding version to the sending platform.
